Medical Grade Chemical Peels

 

Chemical peels are often used to rejuvenate the skin, reduce wrinkles, and treat actinic kerotoses. Here at the FRC we remove layers of skin with a mild acid solution. Depending on the damage, a light, medium,or deep peel is used. After the skin heals, a smoother, younger –looking outer layer forms. Light peels usually result in only a slight redness and photosensitivity, but deeper peels can result in swelling, redness, and photosensitivity that lasts for several days.

 

GLYCOLIC ACID (30% & 50%) SOLUTION

• Safe for most skin types particularly normal to combination,sun damaged and those with irregular skin pigmentation.

• Also known as hydroxyacetic acid and Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA),is a non-toxic chemical exfoliant which dissolves the uppermost layer of the epidermis, thus revealing fresh, smooth skin.

• This peel reverses the damage of photoaging by stimulating collagen and elastin production increasing resilience and strength.

 

FUSION SOLUTION

• Contains Glycolic, TCA, Salicylic, Resorcinol, Lactic, Papaya, Pumpkin, Pineapple, Vitamin C.

• A multi-acid, multi-enzyme peeling solution suitablefor all skin types and issues.

• Clears mild acne conditions.

• Reduces age spots, melasma, discoloration.

SALICYLIC (5% & 10%) SOLUTION

• Most effective to treat mild to moderate Acne Vulgaris.

• Combination of anti-septic and exfoliating beta hydroxyl acid (BHA) derived from the willow tree.

• BHA removes the comedone debris from within the pore lining, which causes whiteheads, blackheads and blemishes.

• Breakouts may occur after peeling due to the pore cleansing and debris rising to the surface. This is a normal and expected occurrence.

 

JESSNER (14%) SOLUTION

• Comprised of a mixture of AHA Lactic Acid and BHA Salicylic Acid with the Phenol derivative of Resorcinol.

• The peel’s three active ingredients encourage skin rejuvenation byaccelerating the skin’s turnover rate, softening the epidermis and stimulating collagen growth.

• Lactic acid (AHA) renews the surface of the skin.

• Salicylic acid (BHA) exfoliates deep within the pore lining to dissolve obstructing comedones.

LACTIC ACID PEEL

• This is a unique formulation of 50% lactic acid and othernatural compounds that provide excellent peeling action while moisturizing, healing and protecting the skin. The compound is not only a superior exfoliant, but also one of the best treatments for hyperpigmentation.

• It has a low pH level to enhance skin brightening, while the lactic acid speeds development, growth and transit of epithelial cells from the lower layers of the epidermis to the surface.

 

SKIN MEDICA VITALIZE PEEL

• This peel delivers immediate results for lighter, glowing more beautiful skin which will affect dramatic changes in the skin’s appearance and texture.

Results that you can expect? Results will vary but generally patients will see a significant improvement in the appearance of pigmented areas. Dark spots will lighten and skin texture and tone will improve. Although most patients experience peeling of their skin, not every client will notice this.
